About this unit 6NW is a Progressive Care unit where RN’s have the opportunity to be trained to work with more critically ill patients than on a general Med Surg unit. All RN’s on 6 NW receive Critical Care training. APP’s are on the unit for both day and night shifts and participate in rounds along with the RN’s and physicians.
